Apple Shuts Down iBooks and iTunes Movies Apps In China

Apple Apps

Apple complied with a demand from China’s media regulator, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, to remove their iTunes Movies and iBooks apps.

These apps where launched in China on September 30, 2015.

A spokeswoman from Apple said:

We hope to make books and movies available again to our customers in China as soon as possible.
